Matthew Evetts

Matthew is a local Wellington business leader and family man originally from Taranaki.

His career has spanned business and government with a background in technology and cyber security. His focus has been on enabling strategy with technology, and leading organisations through transformation and change.

Matthew is married to his wife Vanessa of 25 years and they have three children. Their eldest daughter attends Victoria University, their son is at Tawa College, and their youngest daughter is at intermediate. They have lived in Tawa, in the heart of the Kenepuru electorate for over 15 years.

Matthew is also a keen outdoorsman, and you’ll often find him in the hills and mountains enjoying the incredible flora and fauna of our country.
