National MP Gerry Brownlee has been reconfirmed as a List-Only candidate for the 2026 General Election.
“After the House rises, I will continue to be the Speaker of the House in all non-parliamentary matters.
“At the same time, I will work with my National Party colleagues in advance of the November election.
“I would like to thank the National Party Board for their support.”
