Our 2026 Bluegreens Forum will celebrate 28 years of the Bluegreens, making us National’s longest-running special interest group. Bluegreens are part of a new generation of thinkers who believe that successful economic and environmental policy can and must go hand in hand in order to provide a cleaner, greener, brighter future for all New Zealanders. In 2026, we will be holding our Forum at St Patrick’s College, 581 Evans Bay Parade, Kilbirnie, Wellington.

SATURDAY 21st FEBRUARY

Our spokespersons and NGO’s will be leading discussions on a Bluegreens vision for New Zealand. Our theme for 2026 is our “Bluegreen Economy”.

SATURDAY EVENING DINNER

A relaxed BBQ dinner and refreshments, featuring a special guest speaker, will take place in the gardens of one of Wellington’s most remarkable private residences. The house and its grounds are preserved as a piece of living heritage, offering a unique setting for an evening of conversation and connection. Please note that this will be limited to 110 people. SUNDAY 22nd FEBRUARY

Due to an unexpected scheduling clash, our Sunday Field Trip is currently being reshaped. As you know, these trips have a strong track record of being great events, and we’re working to ensure this year is no different. We’ll be back in touch soon with an update on the revised plans.
