“I am proud to be selected as National’s candidate in Remutaka, to campaign for a party that is fixing the basics and building the future.

“National’s sensible economic management means we’re getting the books back in order and returning to surplus faster. There are 220,000 more jobs are on the way thanks to a growing economy with wages expected to rise faster than prices for the next four years.

“National want to help you secure your financial future which is why we have a plan to lift KiwiSaver rates, give all newborns a $1,500 Baby Boost payment and provide parental leave contributions. Our full KiwiSaver policy means that young people today could be hundreds of thousands of dollars better off when they retire.

“There is still more work to do, which is why I’m looking forward to campaigning in Remutaka to make sure National are returned to Government.”
