This public community meeting is about helping the Bays get connected to fibre broadband internet. I am passionate about building resilient communities, and getting fibre in the Bays is one piece of the puzzle.

One of my goals this year as MP for Banks Peninsula is to strengthen neighbouring communities and to enable a better working local economy. I am committed to implementing National’s values of delivering effective change to my electorate.

The first community meeting for this project will be held at the Governors Bay Community Centre from 3 pm – 5 pm on Saturday, March 9, 2024.

The meeting will kick off with an overview of the project from myself, then the team from Enable will speak about how they propose to get fibre broadband installed in the Bays and what this could mean for our neighbouring communities.

After this, there will be a chance to give feedback and to ask questions.
