Nancy Lu is a National Party List Member of Parliament.

“I’m grateful to voters who have the confidence in us and voted for change. I will work hard on the National-led Government’s plans to fix the economy and get our country back on track. This was the most important election in a generation, and I campaigned strongly across New Zealand’s diverse communities to meet and listen to your needs. We worked hard to deliver our 100 Day Plan on reducing the cost of living, cutting red tapes, restoring law and order and improving our schools and healthcare.”

“As I said in my maiden speech, I want our Tamariki to grow up in a New Zealand for a better future where they can truly succeed. It is also in our best interest and for every kiwi’s future that we uphold our reputation as New Zealanders. I am and will always be proud of our unique New Zealand identity and this identity will always keep me grounded as I serve as a Member of Parliament.”

“I bring to Parliament my ethnic background as well as my professional experiences in accounting and audit as a Chartered Accountant. Having attended school in Auckland from primary to tertiary studies, I am always proud and grateful of the quality of education we had in New Zealand. Having recently graduated with a master’s degree in public administration from Harvard Kennedy School of Government, I am confident I bring many useful tools and knowledge for public service, further solidifying my commitment to the betterment of our country.

As a List MP, I aim to go deep into communities across our country. Apart from English, I also speak and write Mandarin and Cantonese, so I welcome constituents from any electorates to reach out to me.
