Since 2017, I’ve been proud to serve as your National MP for Pakuranga. I’ve been working as part of a National-led Government focused on fixing the basics and building the future, by delivering real results for local families.

New Zealanders want a country where hard work is rewarded, communities are safe, services are reliable, and the future is full of opportunity. That’s why a National Government is focused on fixing the basics and building the future; restoring law and order, easing cost-of-living pressures, improving frontline services, and investing in the infrastructure our communities need.

Delivering for Pakuranga

As your local MP, I’ve worked hard to deliver practical outcomes for Pakuranga, including:

• Restoring 60km/h speed limit on Pakuranga Highway
• Delivering the Reeves Road Flyover
• Securing extended opening hours for East Care A&E Clinic
• Delivering more classrooms for our fantastic local schools, supporting growing families and quality education close to home
• Advocating for local residents by holding Government agencies and Council departments to account for wasteful spending, delays, and poor delivery.
  

These are the kinds of common-sense results local families in Pakuranga expect, and deserve.

The National Government is focused on the fundamentals: safer streets, better healthcare, strong schools, and a growing economy. At the same time, we are building for the future with better infrastructure, responsible spending, and policies that support aspiration and opportunity.

My wife Rebecca and I are proud to raise our four children, Anna, Grace, Thomas, and Peter, here in Pakuranga. Like many families, we want a future where our children can work hard, get ahead, and reach their full potential.

It has been a privilege to represent Pakuranga for the past eight years, and I would be honoured to continue delivering for our community as your National MP.
