This public community meeting is about engaging with the community about speed limits across State Highway 75.

I am interested to hear feedback about the communities’ thoughts on speed limits and infrastructure from Halswell out to Akaroa.

One of my goals this year as MP for Banks Peninsula is to strengthen neighbouring communities and to enable a better working local economy. I am committed to implementing National’s values of delivering effective change to my electorate.

This community meeting for this project will be held at the Akaroa Bowling Club from 1.30 pm – 3.30 pm on Saturday, July 6, 2024.

The meeting will kick off with an overview from the feedback I have received from my survey on SH75, then I would like to open the floor to people discussing their thoughts and experiences on the matter.

Afterwards, I am also keen to hear about any other local concerns or matters.
