Stop Labour's fuel tax!
The Ardern-Peters Government has backtracked on its promise of no new taxes by hiking the national fuel tax by 13.8 cents a litre. What’s more they’re going to make Aucklanders pay a further 11.5 cents a litre on top of that in an extra regional fuel tax.
That’s going to hit hardworking Kiwis in their back pockets and means they will be paying up to $15 extra every time they fill up. This regional fuel tax can also be rolled out to the rest of New Zealand in three years.
As well as the direct impact on what you pay at the pump, this will also have an effect on most other products you buy, and that really adds up.
