The 26^th Bluegreens Forum was held at the Waitangi Treaty Grounds in Paihia over the weekend of 24^th & 25^th February. Once again the keynote speaker was our Leader Hon Christopher Luxon. He was accompanied by 11 National Party MPs, with an outstanding attendance of 160 members and NGO representatives.

Prime Minister Luxon and his team set the tone, both recognising the strength of the Bluegreens as a Policy Advisory Group and his commitment to a strong, science-based decision-making sustainable environment. He also reiterated that you can’t have a strong environment unless it is coupled with a strong economy. This message was warmly received by all attending this Forum.

The Sunday field trip was to Top Energy’s Ngawha Geothermal Power Station.
