The Board of Directors gives notice that the 88th Annual General Meeting of the New Zealand National Party will take place on Saturday 3 August 2024, at the Due Drop Events Centre, Manukau, Auckland. [R24] (Notice first issued 20 May 2024)

The Board

The Constitution and Rules of the New Zealand National Party state that “Board members shall be elected for a term of three years and shall then retire and be eligible for re-election.” [Rule 35 (i)].

The Board advised that the following Board Members were to retire in 2024.

Jannita Pilisi | David Ryan | Stefan Sunde | Sylvia Wood

Nominations for the four (4) positions on the Board were called for on 20 May 2024, and applications closed on Wednesday 19 June 2024.

The Board Appointments Committee, in terms of Rule 35 [e] have concluded their investigations and interviews and advise that the following persons have been approved as Candidates:

Grant Knight | Jannita Pilisi | David Ryan | Stefan Sunde | Sylvia Wood

Appointed Delegates (where we have that information from Electorates) will be contacted the week commencing 8 July in relation to receiving communications from the Candidates.
