I'm sure I don't need to convince you how important migration is to the economy, but it's worth pausing for a moment and just thinking about some of the figures.

This is my first speech as Minister of Tertiary Education - I'm going to give you an overview of where we're coming from, and focus in on one or two areas of particular interest right now.

I guess I should alert you to that fact that there is quite a bit of interest in the Waikato Expressway not just in the Waikato but from as far away as Wellington...including from me personally, and from the Prime Minister.
