The New Zealand National Party was formed in 1936 to represent New Zealanders from all walks of life.
Today National is the second largest political party in the New Zealand Parliament and is a strong alternative to the present minority Labour government.
National stands for freedom, choice, independence and ambition. We believe in less government not more red tape. We stand firmly against political correctness and strongly for personal freedom and responsibility.
